Hi. Great site. I am the co-lead of a residential MDT NHS programme for patients with persistent pain- namely persistent low back pain. As a part of this and to improve clinic information we are designing literature relating to lbp and radicular pain based on current consensus, guidelines and literature. Radicular pain/radiculopathy for example.

Whilst outsourcing brilliant website that already exist is great an additional idea is develop body part or context specific content that sits well with broader themes. Having the NHS endorse these ideas thus updating content that already exists is a must for me.

Happy to discuss further. Adam

Good point! Do you mean like mskr.info? Only endorsed by NHS Choices/ NHS Inform?

The aim of collating these resources has been to provide clinicians with easily accessible resources to provide to patients in rehabilitation.

Hi Claire.

As discussed we have been working on local NHS materials derived from guidelines, consensus and evidence.

I think MSKR is a great addition to governing and producing sensible literature but the NHS is in a position to add credible information, possibly working in tandem with MSKR. I have been involved in this to some degree.

Thought- going fwd- Collation of resources for clinicians - previously would have been member-only content but now opened up and accessible to provide national support - ?consideration for SIGs concerning balance of costs and encouraging membership while creating and sharing resources freely to non-members

This is an invaluable resource! With so much online content available people need to know what is reliable information & a collated list by a recognised association like the PPA ensures this!
