Mandatory Training
I am not sure that there is any benefit to me spending several hours a year updating my knowledge of the use of a fire extinguisher, or how to move a patient safely.
Certain mandatory training like prescribing and similar, which might be of use, should be compiled into a sensible course, akin to GCP for research, that a consultant can do once every 3 years. The rest of it should be ditched.
Should this be stopped or restarted in a different way? If you think it should be restarted in a different way then how would you change it from before?
